Hurley & Company are Chartered Accountants and authorized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Hurley and Company was established in 1982 by Paul Hurley who is a qualified chartered accountant. The practice was established to provide help, advice and assistance to the smaller companies within the local area. They are always available to see new clients. The Company believes in providing full accountancy training to all employees. The majority of the staff have joined them from school and who have continued to develop their accountancy knowledge and have studied for and gained qualifications with the Association of Accounting Technicians and Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

They continue to study towards further qualifications in accountancy and taxation in order to bring a wide knowledge base to the firm and ultimately you as clients. You will find them friendly and always available to give advice and assistance when requested. They take pride in the fact that the majority of their staff have been with them for over a decade providing continuity of service to their clients.

The Company provides a number of services to their clients. They provide services, advice and assistance to the self employed, employed, small companies and charities to both new and existing business. They are always pleased to review your current situation and provide any additional services you may require.

The Company main service is accountancy prepare financial statements for all type of trade as and when required. They appreciate that most of you spend most of the time keeping your business running profitably on a day to day basis, and that the last thing you want to do at the end of the day is to write up your books. They can provide a cost effective bookkeeping service which can be tailored to your needs.

The Company can then provide you with up to date accountancy data when you need it, whether that be weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. Should your trading income in twelve months exceed the registration limit you may have to register for VAT. As well as helping with the registration of your business for VAT, they are available to prepare your quarterly VAT return for you at a reasonable cost.
