Daniells Phillips Vaughan & Bock was established in 1956 by Leslie Watts when he opened his office in the Sill building at the corner of 18th and Chester Avenue. He operated as a sole practitioner until August 1, 1959 at which time Noel E. Daniells became his partner and the firm was known as Watts & Daniells, Certified Public Accountants. Shortly after the new partnership began, Thomas J. Phillips joined the firm as a team accountant making the team a total of six.
