Scott & Co., CPA, P.C. was established in 1979 by Taylor C Scott, CPA with one client and a small shared office in the West County area of St. Louis providing basic tax and accounting services to small companies and individuals. Stephen Scott joined the firm in 1992 after working with one of the larger international accounting firms. He added new skills in the areas of accounting information systems and financial services.
In 2002 Stephen Scott became a partner and the firm name was changed from Taylor C. Scott, CPA, PC to Scott, Scott & Co. CPA, PC. In 2004, Matthew Scott, coming from an international mortgage and finance company, joined the firm helping to startup the Mortgage Services provided via Des Peres Mortgage, LLC. Matthew also adds a driving force to our financial services offered to clients. Today, they are thankful to provide services to over 450 clients in the St. Louis area and surrounding states.

Scott Financial Group, LLC is wholly owned by Taylor, Stephen & Matthew Scott. AS CPAs they provide a variety of services to organizations and individuals that interpret and add value by utilizing a wide range of financial information. These include everything from tax planning and financial statement analysis to structuring investment portfolios and complex financial transactions.
