We're the world's leading producer of bathroom and kitchen fixtures and faucets, sold under such brands as American Standard and Ideal Standard, for consumer and commercial markets.
 
And the Amer Standard leads the world in electronic braking, stability, suspension and transmission control systems, sold under the WABCO name, for heavy commercial vehicles. The company is three businesses, multiple brands, millions of customers, but just one American Standard.
 
Its HVAC equipment include commercial systems, such as chillers, air handlers, and terminal devices; commercial unitary systems; and split-system and packaged residential systems, including condensing units, furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, coils, and air filtration devices. American Standard Companies sells its HVAC products primarily through company-owned and independent agents, and distributors principally in North America and Europe.
 
The company also offers bath and kitchen products, including toilets, sinks, tubs, faucets, accessories, and related products through retail and wholesale sales channels to residential and commercial markets in Europe, the United States, central America, and Asia. In addition, it manufactures and sells braking, stability, suspension, and transmission control systems for commercial truck, trailer, bus, and passenger car manufacturers. American Standard Companies sells its VCS products directly to vehicle and component manufacturers worldwide.
 
The company has more than 350 global safety and health professionals in both manufacturing and sales and service operations across American Standard. And hundreds of our people volunteer as safety and health representatives in their work groups and on safety and health committees. They perform safety audits and help to find and fix safety and ergonomic problems.
