Independent insurance agents can easily estimate the business benefit of internet tools by using Confluency Solutions’ calculators online. The calculators are paired with Confluency Solutions’ own consumer web tools for independent agent websites but can be used to evaluate the cost benefit of generic strategies and tools. “It’s clear the ‘build it and they will come’ approach to independent insurance agency websites doesn’t work,” continued McDonald, “Confluency’s calculators let an agent break a website down, component by component, and evaluate how each one supports the needs of their customers and generates income or reduces insurance agency expenses.”

The first calculator accompanies Confluency’s cFluent Claim Manager and helps agents perform cost benefit analysis on claim service strategies. Other calculators will be rolled out in the coming months and Confluency Solutions expects to continue free access via their website.
