ARINSO Completes SAS 70 Type II Audit; HR Outsourcing and Payroll Services Clients Save Time and Money
(PRWEB) November 18, 2005 -- ARINSO International (Euronext Brussels: ARIN), a leading provider of HR services, announced today that it has completed its SAS 70 Type II audit for the HR outsourcing and payroll services under the responsibility of its Belgian Service Center.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70, Service Organizations) is the standard used to examine and report on the design and operating effectiveness of a service organization's internal controls.

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and similar regulations require corporations to audit internal controls of their suppliers, including those that provide HR outsourcing and payroll services. By undergoing the SAS 70 audit, ARINSO can provide its HR outsourcing clients with an audit report on payroll processing controls that facilitates compliance with these regulations.
