Exeter Fund, Inc. offers a wide range of mutual fund offerings to clients of Manning & Napier Advisors, Inc., and to outside investors. Each mutual fund option has a separate investment portfolio having its own investment objective and policies. 
 
Exeter Equity Funds seeks long-term growth of capital. This fund invests at least 80 percent of its assets in U.S. equity securities of small, mid and large-sized companies. These funds invest in stocks in accordance with their investment objectives as described below. While stocks offer the greatest potential for long-term gains, investors in these series should be aware that these funds may experience high levels of volatility.
 
Exeter Life Science Series Funds seeks long-term growth by investing principally in the common stocks of companies in industries based on the life sciences and related industries. The Series will invest primarily in common stocks of companies involved in the life sciences and related industries. Examples of those companies include those in the following areas: pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical products and supplies, health care services, and environmental services. The fund is non-diversified.
 
The Exeter Overseas Funds seeks to provide long-term growth. This fund normally invests at least 80 percent of its assets in securities from countries outside of the United States. The fund may also invest in American Depository Receipts (ADRs) and other U.S. dollar denominated securities of foreign issuers. Exeter Pro-Blend Conservative Term Series Funds seeks preservation of capital; long-term growth of capital is secondary. The fund primarily invests in fixed-income securities. The advisor typically invests in securities with short to intermediate-term maturities of three to five years, but may also invest a portion of assets in longer-term securities. The fund may also invest in equity securities of both domestic and foreign issuers.
 
Exeter World Opportunities Funds seeks long-term growth by investing principally in the common stocks of companies located around the world. The series invests primarily in common stocks of companies from around the world, which may include companies in the United States. The series may also invest in ADRs and other U.S. dollar denominated securities of foreign issuers. The series may invest in stocks of companies both in developed countries and in emerging market countries. The advisor analyzes factors such as the management, financial condition, and market potion of individual companies to select companies that it believes ill make attractive long-term investments. The fund is non-diversified.
 
Use of the Exeter Fund is tailored to an account’s investment objectives as well as to their analysis of the economic environment and the particular sectors represented by the Series of the Fund.
