Oakmark
Oakmark is a mutual fund company that believes investing in quality companies that are trading at a discount to their intrinsic value provides the most profit potential while reducing risk. It also believes electing a mutual fund requires more than selecting an investment philosophy.

The Oakmark Select Fund seeks capital appreciation by investing in a concentrated portfolio (typically 15 to 20 companies). It generally invests in mid- and large-cap companies based in the U.S. The Fund is non-diversified, so it may concentrate its assets in fewer individual securities than a diversified fund. Therefore, the Fund's share price may fluctuate more than that of a comparable diversified fund.
The Oakmark Fund and Company Income Fund seeks income and preservation and growth of capital. It's designed for investors who want to tap into the potential of stocks, yet want the cushion bonds may provide. The Fund is primarily made up of U.S. equity and fixed-income securities.
The Oakmark Global Fund blends domestic and international securities by seeking value both here in the U.S. and around the world. The Fund has the ability to invest in companies of all sizes small, medium, and large.
The Oakmark International Fund generally invests in mid and large cap companies outside the U.S. Likewise the Oakmark International Small Cap Fund generally invests in small capitalization companies located anywhere outside of the U.S. Many times, these companies are unknown to mainstream investors and receive little attention from Wall Street.
Because Oakmark Select is non-diversified, the performance of each holding will have a greater impact on the fund's total return, and may make the fund's returns more volatile than a more diversified fund.
With the type of returns the company has shown in the past through it may not be any guarantee for the future performance of the company, the odds are the company will manage similar results in the future too.
