Hallmark Capital Appreciation I investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 65 percent of assets in common stocks and convertibles issued by U.S. and foreign blue chip companies. Management seeks issuers that have demonstrated long-term earnings growth, financial stability, and attractive valuation. The fund may invest in foreign securities including ADRs. The fund is non-diversified.
 
Hallmark Convertible Securities Fund seeks total return through the combination of current income and capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 70 percent of assets in securities convertible into common stocks. It may invest up to 30 percent of assets in other securities such as common stocks, money market instruments, non-convertible corporate debt, government debt and foreign securities. Also, the fund is able to invest in stock index futures and may also borrow money but not for speculative purposes.
 
Hallmark First Mutual I investment seeks capital appreciation; income is a secondary consideration. The fund invests primarily in common stock and securities convertible into common stock. It may also invest in preferred stocks, put options, bonds, and other high-quality debt securities. There is no limitation to the proportion of assets that must be invested in any one type of security. Management focuses on small to medium capitalization companies. It also seeks companies with niche markets, such as communications, government-mandated industries, and single product or services companies. The fund may invest up to 15 percent of assets in ADRs.
 
Hallmark Informed Investors Growth I investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 65 percent of assets in equities issued by U.S. companies with capitalizations between 200 million dollars and 4 billion dollars. It specifically targets stocks owned by company management or large outside investors and stocks of companies that are repurchasing their own shares on the open market. The fund is non-diversified.
