The legal and commercial name of the company is UBS AG. The company was formed on 29 June 1998, when Union Bank of Switzerland and Swiss Bank Corporation merged to form UBS. UBS is present in all major financial centers worldwide, with offices in 50 countries. UBS employs more than 69,500 people, 39 percent in the Americas, and 37 percent in Switzerland, 16 percent in the rest of Europe and 8 percent in the Asia Pacific time zone.

UBS Absolute Return Bond Fund seeks to achieve consistent absolute positive returns over time regardless of the market environment. The fund invests in securities and other investments to gain exposure to global fixed income markets and generate positive returns under a variety of market cycles. It invests at least 80 percent of net assets in debt securities of governments throughout the world, including the U.S. The fund may invest up to 20 percent of assets in debt of emerging market securities. Based on market conditions, it may invest up to 20 percent in debt rated below BBB. The average effective maturity typically ranges three years. The fund is non-diversified.
 
UBS Dynamic Alpha Fund seeks to maximize total return through capital appreciation and current income. The fund invests in securities and other investments of issuers in and outside of the U.S. to gain exposure to global equity, global fixed income, and cash equivalent markets, including global currencies. Fixed income securities may include debt securities convertible bonds, mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. Equity securities may include common stock and preferred stock of issuers in developed nations (including the U.S.) and emerging markets of large, intermediate, and small capitalization companies. The fund is non-diversified.
 
UBS Global Allocation Fund seeks total return, consisting of capital appreciation and current income. The fund primarily invests in equity and fixed income securities of issuers located within and outside the U.S. Under normal circumstances, the fund will allocate its assets between fixed income securities and equity securities. Investments in fixed income securities may include debt securities of governments throughout the world, their agencies and instrumentalities, debt securities of corporations, mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities. Investments in equity securities may include common stock and preferred stock.
