U.S. Boston Capital Corporation

U.S. Boston Capital Corporation is a member of NASD, the National Association of Securities Dealers. NASD is a self-regulatory organization of the securities industry responsible for the operation and regulation of the NASDQ stock market and over the counter markets. It also administrates exams for the investments professionals, such as the series of 7 exams.

Quantitative Investment Advisors, Inc (QA) started managing its first mutual fund in 1985. QA is the sister company to U.S. Boston Capital Corporation, which provides brokerage services to high net worth individuals and is the distributor of the Quant Funds. The Quant Funds were initiated in order to provide our high net worth clients an alternative to the standard fare of mutual funds that existed at the time. Instead of attempting to hire individual managers that would work as QA's employees, we chose to have our funds managed by sub advisors; selecting sub advisors that are specialists in their field.

Quantitative Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisor to the Quant Family of Mutual Funds, began operating its first mutual fund in 1985. Subadvisors that are selected by the investment advisor and the Trustee’s of the Funds manage the Quant Funds. In selecting sub advisor’s for the Funds, the investment advisor believes that it has selected some of the best managers in their respective areas of experties. Today QA offers 4 funds, broken down into two domestic and two international portfolios. The domestic funds cover small and large capitalization companies while the international portfolios cover foreign value securities and emerging markets.

Quant Fund can be obtained from your investment professional or from this web site. You should read the prospectus carefully before investing as it contains complete information on the fund's investment objective, the risks associated with an investment in the fund, the fees, charges, and expenses involved. These elements, as well as other information contained in the prospectus, should be considered carefully before investing. These products are available for sale only within the United States. The Funds are distributed by U.S. Boston Capital Corporation, member NASD/SIPC.

The Fund's investment process begins with a top-down ranking of industries based on forecasts of their relative attractiveness. Strict limits are placed on the concentration of securities that may be purchased within any economic and industry sector to avoid undue risk. In addition, risk controls restrict the percentage of the Fund's assets that can be invested in the stock of a particular company.

Buy and Sell Discipline: Individual investments are selected from among a universe of over 1,000 companies. Stocks within the portfolio are chosen based on rankings produced by a multi-factor quantitative model. Revisions to a company's earnings estimates, which are published by financial analysts, are closely followed and trends are quantified daily to arrive at a forecast of the actual earnings of the company for the quarter. Each company's stock is then evaluated on the basis of historic earnings, dividends and asset values, which are compared to the current price of stock. Based on these and other factors, a companys stock is assigned a matrix ranking which determines whether it will be purchased for the Fund or retained in its portfolio.
