Directed Brokerage or Commission recapture is a process whereby a pension plan typically receives a rebate resulting from transactions incurred by the funds investment managers.
 
The firm is a party to a clearing agreement with Jefferies & Co., Inc. where they act in the capacity of an introducing broker-dealer. All their trades are cleared on a Fully Disclosed Basis and under their clearing agreement transactions are primarily cleared via the delivery versus payment method with the additional clearing option of flipping your trade to your corresponding broker-dealer.
 
Their clients have the ability to allocate trades through Oasys, open new accounts via the Alert system, and have them to flip trades when necessary, their clearing agent provides the delivery of cash and securities, issuance of trade confirmations and mailing of monthly statements. 

 Their in-house operations and compliance department is responsible for performing the required due diligence and processing the new account documentation when beginning a relationship with them.
