Avondale Partners is a member of NASD, the National Association of Security Dealer. NASD is a self regulatory organization of the securities industry responsible for the operation and regulation of the NASDQ stock market and over the counter markets. It also administrates exams for the investments professionals, such as the series of 7 exams.
On the 8th of January, 2004 Avondale Partners announced the expansion of its institutional sales and trading operations through the addition of eight experienced institutional equity sales and institutional trading professionals in its offices located in Nashville, TN and Philadelphia and PA.
Commenting on the announcement, Pat Shepherd, who is the managing partner, remarked, that the announcement reflected Avondale’s commitment in order to provide the highest quality institutional equity services to their clients throughout North America as well as Europe.
Besides this, Tom Landstreet has joined Avondale Partners as a Managing Director and Sales Manager for its Institutional Equity Sales Group. Zack Bowen has also joined Avondale Partners’ Philadelphia office as a Director, Institutional Equity Sales, who looks after covering accounts in New York and the mid-Atlantic markets.
