The Company is an investment consulting boutique with relationships with multiple financial institutions and money management firms. They are independent of any big brokerage firm, bank, insurance company, etc., and they offer client driven, unbiased investment consulting. They specialize in helping their clients seek higher risk adjusted performance, helping them understand that performance, and eliminating the frustration of not knowing what to do next.
After nearly two decades of working at E.F. Hutton, Wheat First Securities, and Wachovia Securities, George Edmiston, Jeanne Kelsey, Chris Grogan and four others made the decision that their clients would be better served at an independent, regional, small investment firm dedicated solely to investment consulting and financial planning. Now Carolinas Investment Consulting has grown to 17 individuals, serving families, endowments, retirement plans, foundations, and corporations in over 38 states.
The Company consults to foundations and endowments, working with their boards in designing spending policies, asset management, and risk controls.Spending policy designs are essential to the future of all foundations and endowments.
