Harbour Investments is a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers. NASD is a self-regulatory organization of the securities industry responsible for the operation and regulation of the NASDQ stock market and over the counter markets. It also administrates exams for the investments professionals, such as the series of seven exams.
Harbour Investments is a full service broker and Registered Investment Advisor expanding throughout the Midwest. Formed by Nick W. Sondel in 1987, they believe Harbor has grown to become the largest truly independent broker/dealer in Wisconsin. Harbour has built and maintained an exceptional network of brokers, where the individual needs and concerns of each representative are carefully analyzed. As a result, we have developed the widest selection of products, latest technology, marketing support and research.
It is important to note that Harbour does not have any proprietary products. Our participating sponsors provide additional education and training opportunities to our representatives above and beyond what is provided by our other vendors.
Their Representatives may choose Pershing, LLC or Wedbush Morgan Securities to meet their brokerage service needs. Each firm offers a comprehensive array of products and services at reasonable fees to rival any self-clearing brokerage firm or wirehouse. Harbor has direct selling agreements with more than 160 mutual fund companies and approximately 50 variable annuity companies. Many of its Representatives prefer to place custody of their clients’ mutual fund and variable annuity investments directly with the mutual fund or insurance company in order to provide value-added service through lower client expenses.
Most of their Representatives are life, accident and health insurance licensed and offer insurance services as Independent Agents. As such, Harbor allows you the flexibility to utilize any insurance source for your clients. However, Harbor also has a dedicated insurance division to assist you with your fixed life insurance or fixed annuity production needs. We currently have contracts with 6 Insurance Marketing Organizations in order to provide you with top level contracts on Fixed Annuities.
