Lone Star was formed to, among other things, be the managing broker dealer for private offering issuers specializing in oil and gas projects. The Company serves as the intermediary between the aforementioned issuers and those considering domestic oil and gas investing. As the managing broker dealer of private placement offerings, the company establishes relationships with investors who may benefit from direct participation investments with pass through tax treatment. Oil and gas private offerings through Lone Star are for domestic projects. Therefore, high tax bracket investors may be eligible for tax deductions that apply to domestic oil and gas manufacture investments.

The direct contribution projects offered through Lone Star Securities provide direct ownership of the revenue producing asset.
