Moore Grider & Company was founded by L. Jerome Moore in 1956; the firm has closely adhered to the philosophy that quality professional services are best provided on a personal basis. While the firm has experienced substantial growth to where it is now one of the largest local accounting firms in the valley, the company has not outgrown its basic philosophy. In addition, 3 semi-retired partners are associated with the firm, continuing to serve clients in accounting, income tax and business planning.
The firm provides comprehensive services in all areas of accounting and presently serves clients not only in Fresno, but throughout the state. Business planning and consultation are emphasized in this area, along with general accounting, financial reporting, and preparation of payroll, tax, sales tax, and other government reports. Many business and organizations require annual audits or review of their financial statements by independent accountants.
