The Firm was founded in 1980 as Damore, Hamric, Schneider and Company, Certified Public Accountants and incorporated in 1981 as Damore, Hamric & Schneider, Inc. Certified Public Accountants. The founding principals Vince Damore, Wayne Hamric and Carl Schneider, were partners in another local firm prior to forming their own. Since then, three other principals Ronald Ley, Don Edgar, Jr. and Marta Williams have been added. Vince Damore retired in 1995 and Wayne Hamric retired in 1999. Presently, in addition to the four principals, their full and part time staff consists of 9 professional and 5 administrative employees.
The Company’s philosophy is to grow, but never to lose the local identity and personal relationship with clients that are the foundation of their practice. The Company is the Sacramento area's 11th largest tax preparation and the 20th largest accounting firm. Members of the firm have provided professional service in the community for over 30 years.
