Certified Public Accountants, are people who are dedicated financial professionals of the United States of America and who have spent a good deal of their academic career studying and passing the stringent Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination. These professionals have, strived to meet and have met additional state education and experience requirements for their license to operate as a CPA. CPAs are the only professionally licensed people to provide the public, attestation which includes auditing and opinions on financial statements. While CPAs are known by the general public in part for their tax expertise and for maintaining the accounts books of small organizations, they are uniquely educated for the attestation function discussed above.

Charles E. Solak became licensed by the State of California as a Certified Public Accountant in 1972. The firm provides personal attention to client needs and has limited the growth of the practice to clients who realized the need and benefit of this type of professional accounting service.

The firm views its role to clients to be an information source so they have complete information before they make business and tax decisions. In that connection, they provide clients the CPA Client Tax Letter, published quarterly by the AICPA and made available to accounting firms.

In addition, the Company prepares periodic newsletters and an annual Year-End Tax Planning Letter in November each year to be used to make sure that any tax planning strategies are put into place on a timely basis. The Company represents clients before all tax agencies throughout the entire examination or review process. Individual tax clients have an annual option to select our Audit Coverage that will cover the first 5 hours of any IRS or State Tax agency examination or information request for a 10 percent of the tax preparation service added fee.
