This fund is non-diversified.
American Century Balanced Fund seeks capital growth and current income. The fund normally invests approximately 60 percent of assets in equity securities and the remainder in bonds and other fixed-income securities. The fixed-income portion of the fund's portfolio is invested primarily in a diversified portfolio of high-grade government, corporate, asset-backed and similar securities payable in U.S. currency.
American Century CA High-Yld Muni A, the investment seeks high current income that is exempt from federal and Californian taxes. The fund invests at least 80 percent of assets in municipal securities with income payments exempt from federal and California income taxes. It is non-diversified.
