Mr. Gabelli founded the firm in 1977 and named it after the family, the firm started as a broker-dealer. It has grown over the years into the diversified financial services corporation it is today. The Gabelli Funds Family includes portfolios that have managed to achieve a variety of pre-planned investment objectives. The Gabelli Value Fund Inc. invests in a concentrated portfolio of securities of companies which are selling below their private market value. The Fund's primary objective is long-term capital appreciation. 250 dollars is the initial minimum for IRAs. The Gabelli Small Cap Growth Fund invests primarily in equity securities of smaller companies such as companies with a total market cap of less than 1 billion dollars, which they believe will likely experience rapid growth in revenues and earnings. The Fund's primary objective is capital appreciation.

4.98%, 3.94%, 3.44%, 6.82% and 7.35% are the one year, three year, five year, ten year and life of Fund average annual returns for the Gabelli ABC Fund through December 31, 2005. Investment returns and principal value of an investment will always fluctuate. The Fund is open to additional investments by existing shareholders and to new investors provided that new investors acquire shares of the Fund, with a minimum initial investment of 10,000 dollars directly through the distributor or through the Fund's Transfer Agent. There are no subsequent investment minimums. Investments through any intermediaries will not be accepted. The value of utility stocks changes as long-term interest rates change. Funds investing in a single sector, such as utilities, may be subject to more volatility than funds that are invested over a broader portfolio. The utilities industries can be significantly affected by government regulation, financing difficulties, supply or demand of services, or fuel and natural resources conservation.

The Gabelli Convertible and Income Securities Fund is a closed-end, diversified management investment company whose investment objective is to seek a high level of total return on its assets. Our mandate is to preserve and enhance our shareholders' wealth through a conservative, disiplined approach to convertible securities investing. Their goal is to generate consistently positive inflation-adjusted returns.
