Capstone Asset Management continues to provide Advisory services to the Commonwealth International Series Trust family of funds. They manage various types of funds such as Commonwealth Australia/New Zealand, Commonwealth Global, Commonwealth Japan and Commonwealth Real Estate Securities that are managed by the company.

Commonwealth Australia/New Zealand  seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income. The fund normally invests at least 65 percent of assets in New Zealand securities that seem capable of capital appreciation and/or current income. These may include common and preferred stock, convertibles, and debt securities rated at least A or of comparable quality. The fund may also invest in U.S. securities, primarily debt and money-market instruments. Although it has the authority to invest in options and futures contracts, the fund does not currently intend to do so.

Commonwealth Global seeks long-term capital growth; current income is secondary. At least 65 percent of the fund's assets are normally invested in common stocks and convertible securities. The fund invests in a broad list of securities diversified in terms of both companies and industries. It prefers equity securities of companies with superior financial characteristics, such as above-average dividend and earnings growth, profitability, and internal cash generation that are selling at below-average earnings multiples.

Commonwealth Japan fund seeks capital appreciation and current income. The fund primarily invests in securities listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and in securities of companies that derive a substantial portion of earnings from Japan. Investments may also include investment-grade debt that are payable in yen or are linked to the performance of the Japanese market. The fund may invest in Japanese securities directly or in the form of American depositary receipts.

Commonwealth Real Estate Securities fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in common stock and other equity Real Estate Industry Companies, which may include REITs, publicly traded real estate development companies, real estate management companies, building supply companies, timber companies and other publicly-traded companies involved in real estate related activities and industries.

The fund is managed by very experienced and dedicated managers who work diligently to maximize the returns from the investments of the funds and secure as far as possible the customers investment.
