Jim Denney, president and portfolio manager of Mohawk Asset Management, started his own business in 1992. Mr. Denney has over 12 years of investment management experience. Jim established his own fund Electric City Value Fund in 1999. 
 
The company is accomplished is to provide the level of service and performance that allow its clients and shareholders to meet or exceed their financial goals, allowing them to lead the lifestyle they desire. 
 
Electric City Value fund seeks maximum total return. The fund normally invests at least 65 percent of its assets in common stocks or securities convertible into common stocks. It typically holds at least 80 percent of the total value of common stocks in the portfolio in no more than 40 core companies. The fund invests remaining assets, if any, in U.S. government debt instruments, corporate debt securities, other mutual funds, commercial paper, bankers' acceptance, and repurchase agreements.
 
Historically, no significant effort has been made to market the Electric City Value Fund. Since starting the fund in December 1999, the primary shareholders were existing clients, family and friends. Now that a decent track record has been established, we are planning to introduce the funds to local "self-directed" investors and financial advisers.

The Fund's main objective is long term total returns that, after expenses. The S&P 400 is an index composed of 400 medium capitalization domestic common stocks. The Fund includes promising companies who are main line of business are in line with its ethical investment philosophy. It strives to avoid companies with significant revenues from alcohol, meat products, tobacco, gambling, weapons of mass destruction, pornography, and banks and financial companies. The Fund is open to investors who are committed to its ethical investment criteria and who seek current income.
