Fidelity Advisor Aggressive Growth Fund seeks capital appreciation. The fund primarily invests in common stock of the medium-sized companies, but may also invest substantially in larger or smaller companies. The fund invests in companies that it believes offer the potential for accelerated earnings or revenue growth. It invests in both domestic and foreign issuers. The fund may also engage in buying and selling of the futures contacts.
 
Fidelity Advisor Asset Allocation Fund seeks total return. The fund normally invests 70 percent of assets in stocks, 25 percent of assets in bonds, and 5 percent of assets in short-term and money market instruments. It may adjust asset allocation among asset classes gradually within the following ranges: stock class (50 percent-100 percent), bond class (0 percent-50 percent), and short-term money market class (0 percent-50 percent).
 
Fidelity Advisor Balanced Fund seeks income and capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 60 percent of assets in equities, and the remaining assets in fixed-income securities. It usually invests at least 25 percent of assets in fixed-income senior securities. The fund may invest in foreign securities.
 
Fidelity Advisor Biotechnology Fund seeks capital appreciation. The fund invests 80 percent of assets in securities of companies principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture, and distribution of various biotechnological products, services and processes, and companies that benefit significantly from scientific and technological advances in biotechnology. The fund is non-diversified.
 
Fidelity Advisor California Municipal Income Fund seeks current income exempt from federal and California state personal income taxes. The fund normally invests at least 80 percent of assets in securities whose interest is exempt from federal and California income taxes. The fund may invest without limit in securities subject to the Alternative Minimum Tax. The fund is non-diversified.
