First Funds Family offer many plans in mutual fund such as Capital Appreciation, Core Equity, Intermediate Bond and Tennessee Tax-Free Fund. First Funds Capital Appreciation Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 65 percent of assets in equity securities of medium and small capitalization companies. Management intends to invest at least 80 percent of assets in equities of companies with market capitalizations ranging from 100 million dollars to 1 billion dollars.
 
First Funds Core Equity Fund seeks total return through capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80 percent of assets in equity securities. It invests primarily in common stocks and ADRs of U.S. and international companies that trade on major exchanges. The advisor considers a company's essential soundness and future prospects, as well as overall industry outlook, when selecting investments.
 
First Funds Intermediate Bond Fund seeks current income consistent with preservation of capital. The fund primarily invests in U.S. government obligations, investment-grade corporate debt, mortgage-backed securities, and investment-grade asset-backed securities. It may also invest in foreign securities, zero-coupon bonds, and other investment companies. The dollar-weighted average maturity generally ranges from three to six years.
 
First Funds Tennessee Tax-Free Portfolio is a municipal bond fund that seeks to provide a high level of current income exempt from federal as well as Tennessee personal income tax. The fund generally invests in investment- grade municipal bonds that are issued by the state of Tennessee, or by any city, county, school district, or sub-division of the state.

The Money Market Fund seeks to provide the highest level of current income, consistent with liquidity and stability. The Municipal Money Market Portfolio (tax-exempt) generally invests in short-term municipal obligations, which can provide tax-free income for investors. The U.S. Government Money Market Portfolio primarily invests in securities issued by the U.S. Treasury, as well as agencies of the U.S. Government. The Cash Reserve Portfolio invests in short-term money market obligations, such as certificates of deposit, bank notes and U.S. government obligations.

The objective of First Funds Family is to achieve maximum total return through capital appreciation by investing at least 80 percent of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes.
