The investment seeks long-term capital growth. The fund will invest at least eighty percent of assets in the equity securities of large United States companies with market capitalizations up 378 billion dollars. The fund invests at least eighty percent of assets in equities of large and medium capitalization United States companies. It will take both long and short positions to remain market neutral. The fund will also hold cash and cash equivalents to a restricted degree to provide collateral for the short positions. They may engage in active and frequent trading with the turnover exceeding hundred percent and two hundred percent. The fund may also utilize derivatives.
 
The investment seeks current income consistent with conserving principal and liquidity.  They normally invests at least eighty percent of assets in fixed-income securities including notes, mortgage securities, bonds, convertible debt, variable and floating-rate securities and zero-coupon bonds. They may invest up to fifteen percent of assets in rated securities. The fund may invest up to twenty percent of assets in foreign securities provided that it invests no more than ten percent in foreign securities.
 
The Boston Company International Core Equity Fund seeks long-term capital growth. The fund normally invests at least sixty five percent of assets in foreign equities. They invest in at least five countries chosen from the countries included on the index. Canada and certain emerging market countries. The fund may invest up to twenty five percent of assets in emerging markets. They may invest in fixed-income securities.
