AIG SunAmerica Asset Management Corp. is the mutual fund and asset management business of AIG Retirement Services, Inc. and a member company of American International Group, Inc. (AIG). AIG SunAmerica Asset Management manages and/or administers approximately45.4 billion dollars of assets including approximately 10.6 billion dollars in mutual funds. 

There are two types of mutual fund such as Equity Fund and Fixed Income fund. They specialize in growth-and-value-stock investing.  The first category Balanced Assets Fund is concerned about which seeks conservation of principal and capital appreciation by investing in a balanced portfolio of stocks and bonds. The stocks will generally be of companies with market capitalizations of over 1.5 billion dollars. The bonds will generally be high-quality. The second category Fixed income Fund has featured through securities. 

BioTech/Health Fund A, B and C seeks capital appreciation by investing primarily in 30 - 50 biotechnology companies and healthcare companies of any size that the manager believes to be the leading producers, providers and/or beneficiaries of new and emerging biotechnology and healthcare trends. 

Blue Chip Growth Fund A seeks capital appreciation by investing primarily in large-cap stocks, as defined by Morningstar, Inc. The companies will be comparable to those included in the S&P 500 Index at the time of purchase.
 
Fixed Income our fixed income funds are managed for the total return. The fixed income team at AIG SunAmerica specializes in U.S. government and mortgage-backed securities. The team spends a great deal of time analyzing broad-based U.S. and foreign monetary policy in order to identify the overall direction of the interest rates and aims to capture market inefficiencies to maximize total return. 

While identifying the growth of their companies, the analysts and managers of the fund focus on sales and earnings growth, change in operating margins, balance sheet strength as well as quality of business plans and management teams. They  employ traditional growth at a reasonable price methodology in all buy or sell disciplines. When identifying value companies, the fund managers look for companies trading at a discount to intrinsic value, possess solid franchise value and balance sheets and are undergoing earnings-enhancing business transformations.
