Westcore Funds is having four decades of investment management experience. The Funds are managed by institutional adviser Denver Investment Advisors LLC, a firm that has managed assets for some of America's largest corporations, foundations, and pension plans for the past 45 years.
 
Westcore offer different mutual funds for their investors such as Westcore Blue Chip Fund, Flexible Income Fund, Plus Bond Fund and many more. Westcore Blue Chip Fund seeks total return. The fund normally invests at least 65 percent of assets in common stocks of the largest capitalization U.S. companies. The advisor uses a value approach to identify large, established companies that may be under priced. It uses a quantitative approach combined with qualitative research to individually select securities. By regular application of this method, the advisor intends to maintain an approximately equally weighted portfolio of 50 stocks.
 
Westcore Flexible Income Fund seeks maximum long-term total return. The fund normally invests primarily in a wide variety of income-producing securities such as corporate bonds and notes, government securities and high-yielding equity securities. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80 percent of the value of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in income-producing securities. The fund may invest up to 20 percent of its assets in common stocks, primarily dividend paying. The fund may own an unlimited amount of high-yield/high-risk bonds.
 
Westcore Mid-Cap Opportunity Fund seeks capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 65 percent of assets in equity securities of companies with market capitalizations of 500 million dollars to 10 billion dollars. It may invest in options, futures, preferred stocks, warrants, foreign currency transactions, and fixed-income securities. The fund may invest up to 25 percent of assets in securities rated below investment-grade.
 
Westcore Plus Bond Fund seeks current income. The fund normally invests at least 65% of assets in investment-grade corporate bonds and U.S. government securities. The dollar-weighted average portfolio quality is expected to be better. Investments may include fixed- and variable-rate bonds, zero coupon bonds, debentures, convertibles, and money market instruments. The fund may also invest in dollar-denominated foreign debt securities.
 
The company believes in investment research. The market is not perfectly efficient and they can add value through their research that is designed to identify great investments.
