Robert P. McCarthy serves as President of Kanon Bloch Carrel. Mr. McCarthy is working in the investment field since 1982. In 1982, Mr. McCarthy joined New England Merchants National Bank's Corporate Agency Division as a Fund Accountant, where he was responsible for the daily operations of various mutual funds, as well as interfacing with the brokerage community for all of the mutual funds within the division.

Mr. McCarthy joined Higgins Associates of Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1985 as Operations Director, coordinating the daily investment support functions for the organization. His role expanded to include mutual fund evaluation, asset allocation and conducting investment manager searches. In July of 1994, Mr. McCarthy joined Company's Investment Strategies Group as Senior Mutual Fund Consultant specializing in portfolio construction and mutual fund evaluations. He helped develop Company's 401 plan investment services division.
