Tanaka Growth Fund seeks capital appreciation. The fund generally invests in the common stocks and other equity securities of small, medium and large capitalization companies. It will invest primarily in domestic securities, but may also invest up to 45 percent of its net assets in foreign securities including multi-national and emerging market securities. The Tanaka Growth fund may invest in convertible securities that are bonds, notes, debentures, preferred stocks and other securities, which are convertible into common stocks that the investment advisor deems suitable investments. The fund is non-diversified. The minimum initial investment is 2000 dollars with minimum subsequent investment of 500 dollars.
The TANAKA Growth Fund is based on the same philosophy employed by Tanaka Capital – undervalued growth. The Fund invests in companies selling at reasonable P/E valuations relative to future growth based on our in-house top-down macro-economic and demographic analysis, bottom-up stock selection and meeting with company managements. The Fund has the flexibility to provide investors with growth opportunities from all market caps.
