Value Line publishes more than a dozen print and electronic products which they believe are utilized by more than half-a-million investors for timely information on stocks, special situations, mutual funds and convertibles.




 




The Value Line Mutual Fund Survey
has successfully predicted relative equity fund performance in both rising and falling markets assuming monthly re-balancing. Stocks ranked number one by Value Line's Small and Mid-Cap Performance Ranking System have grown in value by 1,512percent since from inception in 1995 to the end of 2005.



 


Value Line Fund seeks long-term growth of capital; current income is secondary. The fund invests almost all of its assets in common stocks or convertible securities. It occasionally purchases fixed-income securities, however. The fund makes investment decisions based on the Value Line Ranking System for timeliness. The system is based on historical prices and reported earnings, recent earnings and price momentum, and the degree to which the most recent reported earnings deviate from estimated earnings.



 


Value Line Aggressive Income Trust seeks current income. Capital appreciation is secondary. The fund normally invests at least 80percent of assets in high-yielding, fixed-income corporate securities. The fund may also purchase convertible debt. It may invest the balance of assets in U.S. government securities, warrants, or common shares received after conversions.



 


Value Line Asset Allocation funds seeks total return consistent with reasonable risk. The fund invests in a broad range of debt securities, common stocks, and money-market instruments. The debt portion consists of investment-grade corporate debt and U.S. government obligations.



 


Value Line Tax-Exempt Fund seeks income exempt from federal income taxes, while avoiding undue risk to principal. The fund invests primarily in investment-grade municipal bonds. Capital appreciation is a secondary consideration.



 


The performance of Value Line's top ranked equity funds has been considerably higher than the lowest ranked equity funds.
