A mortgage broker is an individual or firm that acts as an independent agent for both the borrower and the lender of a mortgage loan. Mortgage brokers are the middleman between you and the lending institution, which can be a bank, trust company, credit union, Mortgage Corporation, finance company or even an individual private investor. Marshall Mortgage opened its doors in 1984 as Holmes and Marshall Mortgage. In 1986 they changed their name to Marshall Mortgage Services Inc, at the time they relocated from Orlando to Maitland.
Rodney Marshall Mortgage is President of Marshall Mortgage services and was born in Barbados West Indies. He moved to this country in 1973 and settled in Orlando area in 1980. He is involved with the Barbados Association of Central Florida of which he is a founding member and he is also a member of The Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers and The National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
