Cleveland Mortgage Services

A mortgage broker is an individual or firm that acts as an independent agent for both the borrower and the lender of a mortgage loan. Mortgage brokers are the middleman between you and the lending institution, which can be a bank, trust company, credit union, Mortgage Corporation, finance company or even an individual private investor. A mortgage broker will analyze your financial situation to determine which lender is the best fit for your loan needs. He or she will submit your mortgage application to one or more lenders in order to sell it, and works with the chosen lender until the loan closes. He or she receives a commission from the borrower if the loan closes.

With experience dating to 1972, Dale Gauman and Victor Rudiy have witnessed over three decades of change in the finance industry. As they noticed the rapid growth in the mortgage business, these experienced veterans decided to pool their talents and founded Cleveland Mortgage Services in August 1990.

Cleveland Mortgage Services has both a Strongsville office and another in Uniontown. Many of their employees have been with them for a long time. They are licensed by the State of Ohio through the Department of Commerce, members of the Ohio and the National Broker's Associations and they are also members of the Cleveland Better Business Bureau.

Cleveland Mortgage Services offers a wide range of mortgages for purchases and refinances, whether it is for home improvements or to pay off bills from the property's accumulated equity. They are licensed for both FHA and VA loans, and take pride in finding programs and rates that match their customers' needs. They helped found the Ohio Association of Mortgage Brokers in the early 1990s and have each served on the Board of Directors for a number of years.

Whereas a bank will generally only have one mortgage program available to their customers, they deal with between 35 to 50 different lenders. Many times they will be able to arrange better terms for you than a bank and they always offer more personalized service than you'll find elsewhere. They offer evening hours, weekend hours and will meet with you at your home if necessary. They have the resources to get you approved at a good rate, even if you have difficulties in your credit history.
