The Optimum Q Funds are now known as the MDT Funds. The Capital Conservation Fund will now be known as the Short-Term Bond Fund. In addition, six new strategies began operating on September 15, 2005. MDT investment management firm located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The firm offers a wide array of investment strategies to individuals and institutions through separately managed accounts and mutual funds. There are nine types of mutual fund in MDT.
 
MDT All Cap Core A seeks long term growth of capital. The fund will be investing primarily in common stock of U.S. companies. It utilizes a whole market, all Cap and all style strategy. It selects most of its investments from companies listed in the Russell 3000 index. The fund believes that the whole market approach allows investors to participate in all major areas of the U.S. equity market in a single fund. It also believes it provides a great degree of flexibility, which allows the style mix of the portfolio to change in response to market conditions.
 
MDT Tax Aware/All Cap Core a fund selects investments from 3,000 large, medium, and small U.S. companies with both growth and value characteristics. Examines fundamental variables (profit trends, earnings risk, and company valuation) of each company daily. Objective, unemotional quantitative process. Diversification constraints control risk.
 
MDT Large Cap Growth A fund Selects investments from large-sized U.S. growth companies. Examines fundamental variables (profit trends, earnings risk, and company valuation) of each company daily. Objective, unemotional quantitative process. Diversification constraints control risk.
 
MDT Balanced Growth A Fund typically holds 60 percent to 80 percent equities and 20 percent to 40 percent bonds. Domestic equity investments managed using proprietary All Cap Core quantitative strategy. Well-diversified mix of high-quality bonds provides stability and income. Further diversification targeted through allocations to real estate investment trusts and foreign equities.
 
MDT Short-Term Bond A fund Offers broad fixed income market exposure with reduced interest rate risk. Invests in a diversified portfolo of high grade bonds.  It maintains a weighted average effective maturity between one and three years.
