Van Eck Securities Corporation is a member of NASD, the National Association of Securities Dealers. NASD is a self-regulatory organization of the securities industry responsible for the operation and regulation of the NASDQ stock market and over the counter markets. As one of the first U.S. money managers to specialize in global investments, Van Eck Global has found its niche in hard assets, emerging market, and gold and precious metal investing. It was established in 1955 by John C.

In 1968, Van Eck offered the first gold fund in the United States, which became an extremely successful strategy during the bull market in the 1970s. Today, Van Eck’s product offerings include a wide range of investment alternatives through mutual fund offerings, alternative investment strategies, insurance trust funds, and separate accounts.

Founded in 1955, Van Eck Global was among the first U.S. money managers helping investors achieve greater diversification through global investing. Today, the firm continues this 50 plus year tradition by offering global investment choices in hard assets, emerging markets, real estate and precious metals including gold and other specialized asset classes. At December 31, 2005, the company managed over 2.5 billion dollars in investor assets.

Their mutual funds are sold nationwide through retail brokers, financial planners and investment advisers. Designed for investors seeking portfolio diversification, they are often categorized in asset classes having returns with low correlations to those of more traditional U.S. equity and fixed income investments.

The Worldwide Insurance Funds are only available as an option under various insurance contracts issued by life insurance and annuity companies. These contracts offer life and tax benefits to the beneficial owners of the Fund. Your insurance or annuity company charges fees and expenses for these benefits.

In addition to the Worldwide Insurance Funds, Van Eck Global offers mutual funds sold nationwide through retail brokers, financial planners and investment advisers.
