Jenison launched his securitization career in 1986 with the first MBNA credit card transaction. He handled 6 billion dollars of credit card securitizations for MBNA, Household, Prudential Bank and Trust, Advanta and other issuers. He has also specialized in asset backed securities in the home equity, marine, trade receivable, legal settlement, lease, medical receivable, contract monetization and airline fields.
Riviere Jenison Securities is also opening offices in Austin, Texas, Boston, and Santa Monica, California. The new firm aims to become one of the nation's leading middle market finance sources. They are widely respected in the industry and have more than 40 years' combined experience. Jenison, who will lead the New York office, became nationally known at PaineWebber, UBS Warburg and Prudential Securities. Riviere will lead the Austin office.
Riviere structured and placed the first rated taxable student loan securitizations for USA Group in Indianapolis. In 2002, he provided investment banking advisory services for collegiate funding services in its sale to Light Year Capital. In addition to his student loan activities, he has also specialized in auto loan and lease finance, specialty mortgage platforms, and trademark and royalty intellectual property securitizations.
