Mark A. Boyar, President of Mark Boyar & Company, has worked as a securities analyst since 1968. He began actively managing money in 1975, and in 1975 he began to publish Asset Analysis Focus, a monthly research report that identifies and evaluates companies he and his team of analysts believe are undervalued.
They offer institutional and individual subscribers two lines of value oriented equity research Asset Analysis Focus, Boyar's Alternative Viewpoint. Through Asset Analysis Focus, Mark Boyar & Company has been providing research to institutional clients since 1975, making it one of the oldest independent institutionally oriented research services on Wall Street.
In August 2004, Mark Boyar formed Boyar Financial Publishing to publish Boyar's Alternative Viewpoint. It is currently providing research exclusively to institutions that were required to buy independent research as part of the SEC Global Research Analyst Settlement. Boyar's Alternative Viewpoint employs the identical methodology in its analysis as does Asset Analysis Focus.
