Accrued Equities Inc. is member of NASD the National association of security dealer. NASD is the self regulatory organization of the security industries responsible for the operation and regulation of NASDQ stock market and over the counter market. It also administrates exams for the investments professionals such as the series of 7exams. Accrued Equities Inc. is the principal distributors of New Alternatives Fund.

The company initially seeks investments in listed companies that have a positive force on the environment. They are different from funds that make their environmental contribution only by avoiding companies that harm the environment.

They are affirmatively socially responsible. They select the companies that produce something that benefits their environment, such as, alternative energy, recycling, clean air and water, pollution prevention, conservation and other environments. Their environmentally oriented investments are positive forms of the social investment.

The company uses five socially conscious federally insured banks and credit unions for holding cash. They think you should invest with them because you may share their social concerns. Ethical investing has demonstrated that it can earn a profit. No mutual fund can promise a particular result for the future. However, they are optimistic about their chances.

The fund periodically faces the dilemma of considering investment in a company that produces a promising environmental product, but whose other characteristics are not acceptable to their socially responsible standards. They tend towards avoiding companies with negative behavior at the expense of missing out on a promising opportunity.

Its investment policies are materially different from other funds. However like many funds, the Fund seeks long-term capital gains by investing in common stocks and makes investments in a wide range of industries and in companies of all sizes.
