Alexander Capital, L.P. is a member of NASD the National Association of Security Dealer. National Association of Security Dealer is a self-regulatory organization of the securities industry responsible for the operation and regulation of the NASDQ stock market and over the counter markets. Alexander Capital was founded in 1978 under the name of Alexander Scriver & Associates. In 1984, the firm was acquired by Chemical New York Corporation and remained under its umbrella for five years. The partners re-acquired and re-registered as an independent Registered Investment Advisor in 1989, incorporating under the name Alexander Capital Management Group. In April 2003, the firm was acquired by Cobiz Inc, a Denver based financial holding company. The five principals in the firm retained a twenty percent profits interest in the business that will be used to retain and attract investment talent.
 
Alexander Capital’s stock selection process is a combination of top down macro-economic research and bottom up fundamental security analysis. Their macro view of the market helps direct the team to the sectors and industries that people consider attractive, and their bottom up research leads us to specific stock choices. The four-member investment team is responsible for making the final buy and sells decisions.
