Novadebt, A Garden State Consumer Credit Counseling Organization, is a non-profit, financial management, social service agency. It is their mission to provide financial education to the public including free housing and credit counseling services to families and individuals in need. Novadebt provides exceptional counseling services that are available to the public regardless of income, financial situation, and type of credit card debt or amount of indebtedness.
Founded in Freehold, New Jersey in 1991, Novadebt provides a wide range of services including free counseling to consumers in need; education programs through workshops, courses and written material, credit report review services, debt management program to provide debt relief for applicable consumers; and housing counseling services in the areas of pre-purchase, default and reverse mortgage. They are also a founding member of the association of independent consumer credit counseling agencies.
After the review of the information provided during the counseling session, your counselor may recommend their Debt Management Plan. On this plan, they can work with your creditors to possibly lower or waive your interest, Waive the fees, Lower your payments and Consolidate your debt into an affordable repayment plan.
The Debt Management Plan simplifies the sometimes nerve-wracking process of paying too many bills. One monthly payment is sent to us and they disperse this to your creditors. You will continue to receive your creditor statements in the mail, so you can monitor all of your accounts. After a while, you’ll notice on the statements that your balances will gradually decrease.
Novadebt provides ongoing counseling while you are enrolled on their Debt Management Plan. Their client guidance department is available to help solve any financial problems that might occur along your road to being debt free. They also have a client care department to provide customer service to you with the handling of your accounts and payments.
Their agency is an advocate of financial education for the community at large and their focus is to provide these services in order to meet the needs of consumers. Their goal is to help the community and their clients achieve and maintain financial stability.
