n/i Numeric Investors




Numeric Investors LLCis a head in the progress and execution of quantitative investment methods. Established in 1989, Numeric uses its proprietary stock-selection methods to manage approximately 10.8 billion dollars of client assets in domestic and international equity portfolios.
 
The n/i numeric investor’s funds are available for regular accounts, automatic investment plan accounts, retirement plans, Individual Retirement Accounts, and 403b retirement plans. The minimum initial investment for each Fund is 3,000 dollars for regular accounts and 1,000 dollars for IRAs and automatic investment plans.
 
The n/i numeric investors Small Cap Value Fundinvests generally in common stock of smaller market capitalization companies. Also considered but of less significance, is the growth stock model which seeks to identify companies whose earnings per share are improving faster then the earnings per share of the average company, and the quality of earnings model, which identifies companies with conservative accounting practices. The stock selection process is primarily determined by the Fair Value stock model which seeks to identify companies whose securities have market valuations that are lower than the average market valuations of securities, as measured by such characteristics as price to earnings ratios and price to book ratios.
 
The n/i numeric investor Growth Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests generally in common stock of companies with smaller market capitalization, or companies with considerable equity capital and higher than standard earnings growth rates.
 
The n/i numeric investor Emerging Growth Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests generally in common stock of companies with higher than average earnings growth rates and market capitalization of 600 million dollars or less, although the Fund may invest in companies with higher market capitalization.
 
The n/i numeric investors Mid Cap Fundinvests generally in common stock of medium and large capitalization companies where earnings per share are improving more rapidly than the earnings per share of the average company, as well as companies whose securities have market valuations which are lower than the average market valuations of securities, as measured by such characteristics as price to earnings ratios and price to book ratios.
