Pacific Capital Diversified F/I A (PCDFX) seeks a high level of current income investing at least 80 percent of assets in fixed income securities, such as U.S. government and investment-grade corporate debt. It may also invest up to 20 percent to 25 percent of its total assets in investment in grade debt securities and grade dollar-denominated debt obligations of foreign issuers.
 
Pacific Capital Growth and Income A (PCIGX) seek long-term capital appreciation with a secondary consideration. The fund invests primarily at least 65 percent of assets in a diversified portfolio of high quality, dividend paying common stocks of U.S. companies with market capitalizations greater than 1 billion dollar and in securities that are convertible into such common stocks. The management focuses on companies whose earnings are growing at above average rates in relation to other companies in their industries. The fund seeks to produce a gross yield that approximates that of the average for companies in the S&P 500 index.
 
Pacific Capital Intl Stock A (PAISX) Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund primarily invests in stocks and convertibles of foreign companies. It may invest in these securities directly or indirectly through other investment companies or trusts that invest the majority of their assets in foreign companies. The fund does not limit its investments to any particular type or size of company or to any region of the world. Management focuses on companies whose earnings it expects to grow or whose share prices it believes are undervalued.
 
The Pacific Capital Mid Cap A (PMDAX) Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80 percent of its net assets in a diversified portfolio of common stocks of U.S. companies within the market capitalization range of the S&P Mid Cap 400 Index, or in securities that are convertible into such common stocks. 

Pacific Capital Short Intermediate U.S. Government Securities Fund seeks current income having a secondary consideration. It invests 100 percent of assets in short-term debt securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government and its agencies. The average weighted maturity typically ranges between 1 and 5 years. The fund may invest in government agency securities, bank obligations, corporate debt, U.S. dollar-denominated foreign securities, and preferred stocks.
