Mann Mortgage
A mortgage broker is an individual or firm that acts as an independent agent for both the borrower and the lender of a mortgage loan. Mortgage brokers are the middleman between you and the lending institution, which can be a bank, trust company, credit union, Mortgage Corporation, finance company or even an individual private investor. A mortgage broker will analyze your financial situation to determine which lender is the best fit for your loan needs. He or she will submit your mortgage application to one or more lenders in order to sell it, and works with the chosen lender until the loan closes. He or she receives a commission from the borrower if the loan closes.
Mann Mortgage was incorporated in Montana in 1989 as a one man operation with Don Mann as its only employee. For two years Don worked in Kalispell, Montana originating and closing loans on his own. In 1991, Tom Greiner who owned and operated Financial Services, Inc.joined forces with Don. Together they hired a full time processor. Don and Tom continued with a small origination office in Kalispell and slowly added additional loan officers.
In 2006 Mann Mortgage became a Limited Liability Company which provides the opportunity for the Branch Managers to become members in the company. The Mann Mortgage Corporate office and Accounting Department are still located in Kalispell. The Operation Center that provides underwriting, closing, funding and shipping services is located in Helena. Mann Mortgage currently has 22 branch offices, 7 satellite offices and approximately 200 employees.
