The Mortgage Firm

A mortgage broker is an individual or firm that acts as an independent agent for both the borrower and the lender of a mortgage loan. Mortgage brokers are the middleman between you and the lending institution, which can be a bank, trust company, credit union, Mortgage Corporation, finance company or even an individual private investor. A mortgage broker will analyze your financial situation to determine which lender is the best fit for your loan needs. He or she will submit your mortgage application to one or more lenders in order to sell it, and works with the chosen lender until the loan closes. He or she receives a commission from the borrower if the loan closes.

The Mortgage Firm, Inc. is a full service lender that has been doing business in Central Florida for over seven years. They began in 1995 with a staff of only three loan officers, one processor and a receptionist.  They have grown to a staff of over forty professionals including twenty loan officers, five processors, and two closers and support personnel specializing in both retail and wholesale loans. They have grown over 200% in the number of loans closed annually.

They got their start when Todd Pierson, Brett Lindquist and Russ Stewart began to realize that the organizations they were associated with all had similar problems.  Those organizations had lost their personal touch with the individuals and businesses they were supposed to be serving. That is why their owners stay involved in personal production of loans and make every effort to keep their fingers on the pulse of the industry.

Creating valuable relationships with businesses and individuals throughout the area and local community has made The Mortgage Firm one of the most successful mortgage lenders in the Central Florida region.
